Thank you to The Car Store,

Surprisingly a wonderful experience, we could have been taken for a ride being from out of state, the staff was true to their word.

The staff at The Car Store was more than helpful through out the entire purchase and delivery process. Working with us to make the "surprise" for our son's first car delivery all that it could be. Its not often in this economy that you are treated this well when making a purchase which could have been a "take or leave it" experience.

Dear Car Store,

We've purchased a couple of cars from The Car Store. They provide great service and we really like the people that work there. We highly recommend their services.

To All at The Car Store,

Over the past five years, I've gotten to know The Car Store pretty well and vice versa. I think the service department manager, Will, is awesome and very helpful. I have been very satisfied with the work they've done for me. I bought my Subaru from them and have been taking it there to be serviced ever since. The service is good and professional, they know what they're doing.

Sometimes, when calling, it's hard to get through to the service department, and people are a little rude until you actually reach the service department where they're a lot nicer. So that can be off-putting to some customers.

I think that The Car Store had a reputation around town as not being a very friendly place to be. To be honest, I think the customer service has steadily gotten better over the years. I'm not sure how the sales department is, but the service department has definitely improved over time.

I bought my car from The Car Store about two years ago. They have a great selection of cars for sale.

I only deal with Will now. Before I dealt with Will, I was not happy. They don't really have a good reputation for service over there. But I have been satisfied with Will and the service he provides. He is personable, attentive and very professional.

However, if Will's not around, I'm not happy. They'll find all kinds of things wrong with my car and try to add charges. But I know I maintain my car and keep it nice, so it's hard to take especially how the economy is. So, when I recommend them to people, I always tell them that they have to see Will
.

The Car Store Staff
,
My experience with The Car Store was set up by my dealer totally by chance. He called them and set up my appointment with Will. They organized a ride for me and then a driver to take me back, he was very nice. They totally took care of everything for me, from the insurance to the warranties to the adjuster, it was great and worry-free. They sent the driver for me when my car was ready. Everything went smoothly and I am a very happy and satisfied customer. I'll definitely go back there again and I'll be asking for Will!

To All at The Car Store,

I just want to Thank You for assisting me so promptly and courteously.
Last week my suitcase was in the car and I was heading out for a week long vacation to Maine. When I started the car it was rumbling and the check engine light came on.
I immediately drove over to my little independent mechanic who disregarded the missing cylinders. Having called The Car Store and speaking to Rick in the service department he assured me they had the coils and wires they thought were the problem and asked me to come right over.
My car was taken in immediately and within one hour I was headed to Maine with a new coil and perfectly running Subaru.
Thank You All and by the way I had a great vacation.
Best,
Carolee

Hello,

I have a 2010 Subaru Outback.  I work in Lebanon, NH and live in Concord, NH.  Last April, I was heading home to Concord and as I approached the lights on Rte 120 at exit 18 in Lebanon, I could see a lot of snow coming down. I thought it looked nasty, but I didn't realize how bad it would be until I got onto Rte 89 heading South.  I found myself in whiteout conditions within a 1/2 mile.  Apparently, there was a band of whiteout snow that came across Vermont and it started to cross New Hampshire at the same time I got onto Rte 89. I was in this whiteout all the way down to exit 11 in New London.  I couldn't see more than 5 feet in front of my car the whole way. There was approx. 4 inches of snow on the road and I couldn't see the painted lines for the lanes or the side of the road. I couldn't see exits until I was right on top of them. I had to follow the guard rail to ensure I stayed on the road. When the guard rail ended in places, I had to use the rumble strips on the side of the road to guage where I was. When I felt and heard the rumble of the strips, I would move over slightly.  I could see other cars blinking yellow hazards in the snow, and knew they were probably off the road. I didn't want to stop because the visibility was so poor, another car wouldn't have seen me until they were 4 or 5 feet away. I was in tears, and all I wanted was to be home.

This was by far the worse drive in weather I had ever had.  This is my first Subaru and I can tell you that the all-wheel drive cut right through the snow on the roads and never slid side to side once. I was so impressed with the performance of my car that I have told this story over and over again whenever I am asked how I like the car.  I really believe that if I hadn't been driving my Subaru that evening, I may have been off the road or maybe have spun around with the chance of being hit by another car.  I now have 45,500 miles on it (yes, that's in 1 year) and I am just as impressed with it as the day I bought it.  I just got new tires on it this past weekend and I look forward to conquering the snow once again this season!  It has given me new confidence (but a safe confidence!) when driving in any weather condition and I know I am a lot safer now.

Take care!

Hi there!

I would like to announce that my 2008 Subaru Outback Impreza is my 5th and best Subaru yet!

In my third year with this car, it has needed NO repairs, just general maintenance.  It is absolutely fun to drive, spunky and responsive.  With Nokia winter tires, I can go anywhere in the winter, feeling secure in any weather.  This is especially important when I go snowboarding where the hills can be steep with fresh snow.  Even my driveway is a challenge with a half mile of hills and gravel, but my "scoobie" never gets stuck.

Comfort-wise, I LOVE my heated seats and great sound system.  I'm near the end of my lease and may just buy this car to keep!

I have had a Subaru Forester for at least 6 years now and have bought them all from this dealership. I have been taken care of and treated fairly and honestly.  I am comfortable with the staff and some even know my name!

I drive over a hundred miles a day every week and then more on the weekend. My cars have performed well and gotten me through some very bad weather days down curly roads and slippery interstates.  After getting a haircut I was making an appointment for the next visit.I asked about bad weather days as it was winter. My hairdresser answered,  "I have a Subaru!"  I agreed and we attested to the confidence we have in our cars.

Attention : Service Department

We do not want any more time to go by before we thank you for your wonderful service we received on October 18,2010.
We were returning form Montpelier , VT when the brakes on our Subaru locked up and became very hot. AAA towed the car from exit 16 in I-89 to The Car Store, Inc. The people in the service area looked at the car to see what was wrong and fixed the problem with the brakes. They also replaced a light bulb and wiper blade that had been overlooked at recent 30,000 mile checkup.

We were on our way by closing time and reached home without further mishap. It was wonderful to be treated so well by the service managers and staff at The Car Store, Inc.

Special thanks to Will Dinsmore and Skip Truman for giving us the help and reassurance we needed at a difficult time.

Sincerely,
Kathy & Kirby

Dear Tom,

You probably already know this but it is good to hear again i'm sure. Your employee, Will Dinsmore, does a great job.
He not only knows a lot about mechanics but he is excellent with customers. Though he is very busy he takes the extra time to explain in as much detail as the customer wants the recommendations the mechanic suggests for the cars. He does not pressure the customer to have any work done the customer does not feel they want to do or can afford. I appreciate Will's patience and respectful manner very much. Please pass this note along to him.

Sincerely,
Nina

Dear Friends at The Car Store,

We would like to take this opportunity to Thank you for making our son Brendan?s first car experience such a positive event!

We had been looking for a pre-owned car for our son for several months.  Using the computer to do so has both its drawbacks and advantages.  One has to rely on the information provided to make a judgment either good or bad about a vehicle and a seller. Once locating a potential vehicle at the Car Store using Auto Trader.com we met with nothing but positive experiences.

We placed a call and spoke to Chris, who gave us the background on the car. We explained that our son was away at college, but would be home soon on break. We wanted a vehicle that would be reliable and affordable so that he would have a car to drive during the months he would be home with us. Chris spent time over the phone relating the information about the car we were looking at. As luck would have it we had called only a few days before the car was to be sent to auction!

Living in upstate New York, the drive to the Car Store is about 2.5 hours long.  We asked if it was possible to put a hold on the car until we could get there on the weekend. Chris was happy to help us and we set a date to see the car that next Saturday. Of course, the weather being what it is in the Northeast, we hit a little snow on the way and had to wait for the train to cross the main road in Rutland but finally arrived at the Car Store. We were met with friendly and helpful people, especially our sales person Cliff. We were able to see the car and take it out on a test drive. The car truly lived up to the information we had been provided both on the website and over the phone.

After making the purchase, the next step was to set up delivery and a plan to surprise our son. The staff at the Car Store went out of their way to help make this a wonderful surprise for him.  As parents, we invoked the ?little white lie? clause afforded to us. We told our son that we needed to travel  to West Lebanon, New Hampshire to get a part for our wood stove; and that we would take him to his favorite restaurant  there Lui -Lui?s. He bought the story hook line and sinker, of course to seal the deal; we did have to take him for lunch! Afterward, we conveniently got lost on our way to get the wood stove part, and ended up in the parking lot at the Car Store where we were going to ask for directions.  Cliff and the rest of the Car Store staff had prepped the car complete with a big red ribbon on top. We parked so that our son could not see the car at first, my wife went in to get the keys from Cliff and brought them back saying; ?that they didn?t know where the wood stove place was, but that these keys were for him!?

The rest of the story can be seen in the photos we have attached.  Thanks again, to all the staff at the Car Store who helped make this such a fun event!

Sincerely,
The Fergusons, VT
